A Jazz Joint

A Jazz Joint is an open mic and art show geared toward live instruments and poetry performances. This event will take place at The Continental Club in Greensboro. Tickets are $20 and $10 for performing artists. A Jazz Joint will include featured performances, live music, amazing networking opportunities, live painting, great drinks and so much more.

Daze of Future Fashion Volume III: The Jungle is the Only Way Out

This installation of DOFF is focusing on how do we get free when we don’t feel free? I’m heavily inspired by poetry in all its many forms and as a means to rebel against the status quo and unjust systems. The revolution is said to start in the minds of revolutionaries and the only way out of the system is through the chaos within ourselves. I aim to challenge how people see the outward and inward expression of themselves as well as the world around them. How do we really put poetry in motion and what does it mean to see poetry and fashion not only coexist, but collaborate for a truly unique fashion and art experience.

This event will feature 4 showcasing designers, 5 designers entering a designer competition, live performances, live painting, amazing vendors and plenty of opportunity to meet talented creatives within the fashion and arts community.

    The Midnight Market is a late night vendor market flipping traditional markets on their head deviating from the standard 8am - 12pm hours to an 8pm - 12am market with a relaxed party like experience, showcasing 4 local DJs and a variety of amazing local vendors at Marjae’s Wine Bar for amazing signature cocktails to sip, shop and dance.

    The Sip and Swap event at Melrose Wine and Coffee Lounge aimed to reduce Textile Waste in landfills by bringing previously loved items and swapping with someone else’s previously loved items for free. All remaining items were donated to The Women’s Resource Center of Greensboro

    The Women Who Wine event was an open mic and art showcase, taking place at Melrose Wine and Coffee Lounge to highlight an all Women line up of singers, poets and visual artists in a safe and immersive experience to foster connections within the creative community.
